The Big-D Idaho Falls office began, in earnest, in 2013 when a project construction team with ties to Eastern Idaho was relocated to Rexburg, Idaho to manage the construction of the Central Energy Facility project at BYU-Idaho. Company leadership then discovered there were other employees from Eastern Idaho eager to pursue more work locally. In turn, Big-D encouraged their eagerness and desire to establish a presence throughout Eastern Idaho. That presence continued to grow until Big-D officially opened a regional office in Idaho Falls in 2018.
Big-D Idaho Falls is proud to offers clients the ability to work directly with a local contractor who can devote a higher level of attention to projects, typical of a smaller contractor, but who is also backed by the significant resources of a much larger firm. With Big-D Idaho Falls you receive the best of both worlds – the dedication of an earnest small contractor and the resources, professionalism, and experience of a much larger organization.

The Big-D Lindon office opened in 2005 with the focus to increase Big-D’s presence in Utah County. The Lindon office constructs a wide range of project types annually, with key market sectors being commercial buildings, higher education facilities, multi-family housing, industrial, and mining projects. Big-D Lindon is a fully self-sufficient office, able to offer comprehensive Preconstruction and Construction services, and is staffed with a Preconstruction Director, a team of estimators, and a variety of market-specific construction team members.
Building and maintaining local client relationships has always been the driving factor for the Lindon office but being local for their employees who appreciate working on projects close to home and minimizing long commutes is equally as important. Big-D Construction was founded in 1967 in Ogden. It was our original home, first headquarters, and where it all started. The Ogden office is where our company culture and core values were forged and where Big Dee and his founding leaders built a company based on equal respect for customers and employees. The Ogden operation grew quickly, taking on larger and more notable projects in the food and beverage processing, manufacturing and industrial warehouse sectors. Xactware Solutions Inc., a Utah County-based technology company, produces management software for some of the top building and remodeling professionals and develops computer and mobile software that helps in calculating building and repair costs. Completed ahead of schedule and under budget, this new Class “A” build-to-suit office building complete with a state-of-the art data center has allowed them to double their number of employees, and includes indoor and outdoor environments that appeal to the well-educated, ecologically savvy employees. These workers want contemporary design, fitness centers, lots of sunlight in work spaces, energy efficiency and attractive natural areas outside a building—all of which are included in this four-story facility.

SPACES is a business center located in the Traverse Ridge Center III building that provides short- or long-term offices and coworking spaces for professionals and creatives. Big-D completed tenant improvements for the first and second floors. SPACES is well-designed, exceptionably modern, flexible, and features the latest technologies, high-quality furniture, and user amenities. The first-floor buildout included a reception area, numerous offices of varying sizes, a wellness room, document and refreshment stations, meeting rooms, a screening room, training room, mail/copy room, small phone booths, a quiet coworking area, break area with library wall and banquette seating, and support spaces like storage and IT/communications room. The second floor is an impressive array of varying sized offices. Big-D’s scope of work included installation of all Owner-provided furniture and equipment.
